What is Mounting Film Adhesive?

Ok, so Mounting Film Adhesive is not "poured on" to the canvas like a glue, but it is applied by strong transfer methods so the adhesive will adhere to the canvas extremely well. It is acid free and will not yellow and crack after time like your old photo albums from the 80"s. This means it will protect your diamond painting for many years to come. Our company no longer uses poured glue as it only has a lifespan of about 5 years and then it starts to yellow and crack. We are not sure why some companies still use poured glue anymore as it is an outdated method of adhering drills (diamonds) in Diamond Paintings. Mounting Film Adhesive is used for many industrial applications, such as adhering metal signs to various surfaces in the signage industry, and also used to adhere car parts, and interiors upholstery in cars. It has high heat resistance and is also waterproof. The strong clear cover helps the canvas lay flat easier after transit. When the canvas is rolled up the picture is to always face outwards and not to be back rolled as the thicker cover is not meant to be rolled tightly onto itself. This is where rivers(creases) can be formed on the canvas, please be careful. Mounting Film Adhesive is the most advanced adhesive method used in Diamond Painting.
